ABOUT THE COMMUNITY:

Built from the original location of Floyd Odlum (owner of RKO Pictures in the 1930s) and his wife Jackie Cochran (the first woman to break the sound barrier, which she accomplished here in the valley), Indian Palms Country Club is rich in history. Jackie designed the first 9 holes of the original course in 1947. President Eisenhower stayed at the boutique hotel at the country club while writing his memoirs. Many homes have RV parking, with numerous homes to choose from on and off the golf courses.

A 27-hole championship course offers sweeping views of the Santa Rosa Mountains currently in phase three of redesigning while maintaining the historic integrity of the property. In contrast to many other courses in the desert, hundreds of mature trees line each fairway.
