PGA West has 6 golf courses for members to play at. Each course has it’s own unique design and challenge so members and their guests never get bored.
The Arnold Palmer Course At PGA West
The Arnold Palmer Private has five holes, which run along the side of the Santa Rosa Mountains and designed by Arnold Palmer. This course has been the host course used in past PGA Careerbuilder Classic as well as the wonderful Bob Hope Classic.
The Greg Norman Course At PGA West
The Greg Norman course is the only Greg Norman designed course in the entire Coachella Valley. It rests in a prehistoric ocean bed 40-feet below sea level. It’s surrounded by an immense crescent of terra cotta mountains. The course itself has an “outback feel” with only 68 acres of manicured turf with 102 white crushed marble bunkers and shark blue water coming into play on 9 holes.
The Jack Nicklaus Private Course
The Nicklaus Course at PGA West has the highest stroke (74.3) and slope (146) ratings of the 3 private courses here at PGA West. This course was also a former host for the CareerBuilder (Bob Hope) Classic. It once ranked among the “Top 100 Courses in the World” and can be a challenge for anyone.
Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course
The Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course has been called “a true ball striker’s golf course.” This couse is one of the bi-annual courses hosting the PGA TOUR’s final round of G-School. It’s also been the host course for the CareerBuilder Challenge. Expect this course to be a test of any golfers skill and demanding around the greens.
Tom Weiskopf Private Course
Enjoy a touch of Scottish links play as you encounter two replicas of the Swilcan Bridge from the first tee box. This course opened as PGA West’s final private course in 1996. Enjoy some stunning panoramic views of our valley along the course’s generous fairways and large greens.
Stadium Course
The Stadium course at PGA West has been rated one of the “Top 100 Courses to Play” in 2016-2017 by GOLF Magazine and the 4th toughest course in America in Golf Digest’s “Top 50 Toughest Courses in America.” At 7,300 yards, the Stadium Course has the highest stroke (76.1) and slope (150) ratings here at PGA West.
