PGA WEST This is a special time of the year at PGA WEST. The beautiful winter Rye grass is coming in, and everyone is returning to The Valley. The season is set to get underway! As our season begins, the PGA Tour season is coming to a close. The final event of the year is taking place in late November and early December, and it’s on two PGA WEST Courses. Home Prices To Increase In The Next 12 Months

According to the Fannie Mae Monthly National Housing Survey, 35% of Americans believe home prices will increase in the next 12 months. As illustrated in this chart, this is the highest recorded level this survey has ever seen. Optimism about the housing market was also seen in several other surveys as well. Seventy-three percent believe that now is a good time to buy, and sixty-nine percent said that if they were going to move, they would buy. This represents a 6 percent increase from the May survey. The City of La Quinta, California added six plaques last week at historic landmarks around town. The La Quinta Historical Society identified them as important to the city's heritage. The locations were: 1. The La Quinta Historical Society Museum. 2. El Ranchito Restaurant. 3. SilverRock Resort Clubhouse. 4. The La Quinta Resort 5. Looks like former President Bill Clinton and his William J. Clinton Foundation will be teaming up with Humana and the PGA TOUR for an eight-year partnership with Humana being the title sponsor. The Bob Hope Classic is back again this January 17th to the 23rd. The host course once again is our very own Palmer Private at PGA West. From there players will move to the La Quinta Country Club, SilverRock Resort and then the Nicklaus Private back at PGA West. This is always a treat for residents at PGA West.
